chevron_rightWhat is the Elder Care program?
Elder Care is a program started by HOA members who recognized a need for minor support for some of our older neighbors. Small tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor fence repairs, or moving heavy objects can be very difficult and even dangerous for some of our neighbors. The Harvest Hills HOA Elder Care Team members offer to do these tasks as needed, without any cost to the home owner. In most cases the homeowner has the materials needed to get the job done, but just needs a little help to "climb the ladder" or "nail on the fence picket".
The program is managed by HOA Board member David Robinson. If you think you may need the Elder Care Team's services, or you know a neighbor who might
click here to send a request to the Elder Care/Services team. Or you can contact David Robinson directly at 405-642-8856 and leave a message.
HH Residents who want to become volunteers on the Elder Care team can also send a message to the team or contact David.
City Ordinance Questions

chevron_rightAre stray cats good for the neighborhood?
Stray cats can be good for the neighborhood as they contribute to the control of rats.
Remember, if you trap a cat that has the tip of the left ear removed, it is already part of the TNR* cat colony and an asset to our neighborhood. We have volunteer caretakers in our neighborhood that are providing food, water, and clean, unobtrusive shelters for the cats, and continuously monitoring their health.
*TNR = trap, neuter and return

chevron_rightIs there a leash law in our neighborhood?
Yes. Actually, there is a city ordinance that states all dogs must be confined in a house, in a fenced yard or on a tether (leash).
There is also an ordinance requiring owners to pick up the poop their dogs deposit on any public place or private property that is not their own.
We are lucky to have a lovely neighborhood and a park in which to walk our dogs (a park that has 2 poop bag dispensers and cans!).
We love the dogs in our neighborhood and the responsible owners who care for them!
